Job: Research Associate in Process Analytical Spectroscopy

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available to undertake research and development of novel fluorescence-based process analytical technology for on-line measurement in the pharmaceutical industry. The post is funded by an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award (IAA) for the research and development in collaboration with AstraZeneca (Macclesfield).

You should have, or be working towards, a PhD or equivalent in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or related discipline. Expertise in the application and development of optical instrumentation and multi-variate data analysis are essential. You should be capable of working under your own initiative and be able work effectively alongside academic and industrial partners so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
