Submissions are requested for both oral and poster contributions to the CLIRCON17 conference. Abstracts for poster submissions should be submittted as soon as possible.

Conference themes

The CLIRSPEC Network has a number of objectives and contributions are welcomed in any of these areas. In order to assist planning, please categorise your submission into one of the following broad topics:

  • Interoperative Spectroscopy
  • Biofluid Analysis
  • Spectral Histopathology
  • Data Processing Methodology
  • Cytology and Cellular Systems

Important dates

Deadline for submission of oral contributions: 18 January 2017
Deadline for submission of poster contributions: As Soon As Possible

Abstract guidelines

Abstracts should be up to 250 words and can incorporate images.

Instructions for the operation of the abstract submission system are available here. In order to access the abstract submission system you must first register your contact details. This is independent of the conference registration process.

The abstract submission system uses a template file for the abstract itself; other metadata (author list, affiliations etc) are collected online. This template file is available here.

Poster guidelines

Posters should be able to fit on boards that are A0 in height.

Pins and Velcro-style fasteners will be available to attach posters to boards.
