Alex Henderson, a researcher at the University of Manchester has extensive experience in multi-modal data handling within the spectroscopic and hyperspectral imaging domains. Alex was a founder of a spin-out company, SurfaceSpectra Ltd, specialising in spectral databases and knowledge systems.

Alex is a recognised National Expert on four working groups of the International Standards Organisation (ISO) related to Terminology, General Procedures, Data Management and Treatment and Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry.
