Postdoc: Raman and IR in cosmetic science

A postdoctoral position is currently available at the University of Tours, faculty of pharmacy, Tours, France.  Dr Franck Bonnier is seeking a motivated candidate to join the spectroscopy group and work on development of Raman and infrared spectroscopy with particular emphasis on cosmetic sciences. Seeking candidate with previous experience in Raman imaging (ideally used in context of tissue sections analysis) and preferably with some basic knowledge of data analysis (multivariate analysis under Matlab). The work will be carried out on a Witec system. Duties include preparation of samples (skin models, reconstructed skin, human biopsies), collection of data (Raman, HPLC, GC) and data analysis.

  • The maximum duration for the position is 15 months.
  • Gross monthly salary 2600€
  • Position available immediately
