Research Assistant in Dublin – Developing Raman and FTIR imaging

A Research Assistant is required to work on a Health Board Research funded project to develop a Raman and FTIR imaging for applications in cancers such as breast, oesophageal, colorectal and prostate.

The successful candidate will be based in the Radiation and Environmental Science Centre (RESC). RESC is a designated research centre of the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and is housed in the Focas Research Institute on the Kevin Street campus.

Closing Date: 1 September 2017

This is a fixed term specified purpose appointment for up to 5 years which will run from the date of employment until the end of the fixed term specified purpose or until the funding for the post comes to an end, whichever is the sooner. The initial funding is in place for 20 months.
