Applications are invited for the above postdoctoral research position for an interdisciplinary project between the Biophotonics Group in the School of Physics and Astronomy (University of Nottingham) and the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The project is focused on developing novel Raman microscopy techniques for medical diagnosis.
Experience in developing confocal Raman spectrometers or auto-fluorescence imaging systems for biomedical applications, based on microscopes, fibre optics probes is desirable.

Salary: £26,495 to £38,833 per annum (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £29799 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance
